Stephen Yeargin

Stephen Yeargin

Strategist

Stephen's Biography

Being a Strategist requires that an individual be well-rounded, business-savvy, well-spoken, and passionate about the web. Enter Stephen Yeargin -- textbook definition.

We first met Stephen as a client; he hired us in his previous job as Director of Publications for MTA Distributors. We recognized Stephen's ability to manage projects, formulate business strategy, communicate clearly (Journalism major roots), and understand tech (trained developer too!). We filed those robust qualities away in the "Hey, Remember This" file -- and a few months later when we were looking, Stephen was looking for a new challenge. Nashville magic!

A few other things about Yeargin: he's a passionate hockey fan (Go Preds!), a writer of political opinion pieces, a fan of all things burrito, and a member of Eastwood Christian Church in East Nashville. Stephen has been married to wife Samantha since 2006, and as an intelligent man he doesn't hesitate to admit that his wife is vastly smarter than he is. See, we told you: well-rounded, savvy.

Organizers say that the 250 mile march, sponsored by the California Federation of Teachers and its diverse allies from labor, the faith community, and other civic supporters, is designed to draw attention to the underlying causes of the state’s woes as well as gather signatures for a majority budget initiative.

Trinity/HOPE

Devastation. Tragedy. Hopeless. Those were the words used to describe the recent earthquakes that struck the island of Haiti on January 12 near Port-au-Prince. To a nation that that was already struggling with poverty and trying to meet the basic needs of its people, the earthquake magnified the crisis for the world to see. Like many companies in Nashville, CentreSource matched its employees’ donations to give $500 to the UNICEF organization to help with relief efforts.

New Year’s Resolution: Update Your Browser

You have likely already seen this video. Google interviews a number of people in Times Square to see if they can answer the basic question: What is a Browser? Less than eight percent guessed correctly, and you can be reasonably sure that figure translates well into the general public. When it comes to the Internet, one of the single most integral pieces of the experience often gets overlooked.
