Acme Healthcare provides facility planning and digital applications for corporate onsite health services. These onsite services provide employees convenient healthcare solutions, wellness management, and education services. Centresource was tasked with providing UI/UX design on a new suite of white-label applications to support smarter intake of patients. This suite consisted of a redesigned patient portal, facility check-in kiosk, and digital room boards, working together to create a streamlined patient experience. Centresource worked onsite with Acme, providing resources to enhance their internal team.

Each phase and feature of the designs were strategically mapped out in thorough wireframing sessions with the internal team, taking into account user feedback and client expectations. These sessions produced various solutions for the problem at hand and helped support the final designs, making for a more efficient process from ideation to development.
Design tool Sketch was built for product design, and its lean, intuitive interface allowed our designer to set up consistent styles that could be easily edited across all design materials without having to make the same changes in multiple locations. This was crucial to keeping the design flexible.
Prior to development, a clickable prototype was created in InVision to demonstrate the desired user path and test the design. This helped ensure the intended user experience was met before the product was fully built. InVision screens can also be linked directly to the Sketch files, which allowed the prototype to reflect design changes immediately.
Centresource worked full-time, integrating our user experience and user interface design resources to supplement Acme’s internal team. With our help, the client was able to bridge a skill gap and maintain momentum in order to meet an aggressive deadline handed down from leadership. In addition to solving a logistical challenge, the design process set up the applications for success. Throughout the design process, user feedback was collected and incorporated to maintain a user-first approach. This iterative testing method ensured that the final designs that went into development were properly validated and ready for a seamless hand off.
