Type A Personality Dreamland: Google+
Since the release of Google+, I have to be honest and say I haven’t quite jumped on that bandwagon. I signed up for the account and haven’t touched it since. What I have learned though is Google+ is a person with a Type A Personality’s social networking dreamland. Once you’re a member, you’re able to organize your friends by topic: Friends, Family, College Friends, Work Friends, etc. All of this sorting is an attempt to make sharing easier and more organized.
I thought I’d share with you some facts I’ve learned about Google+ since I’m contemplating giving it another shot:
1. Later in the year, there will be a business version of Google+.
2. Google+ has a video chat feature, known as hangouts, in which up to ten people can be included in a video call.
3. Unlike Facebook, there are no advertisements displayed over Google’s social network site, making the load time faster. (3 cheers for that!)
4. With a Google+ account, you obtain an unlimited photo storage on Picasa, instead of the 1GB storage you get without a Google+ account.
